During this talk from Zalando’s former CMO, Christian Meermann, we’ll be exploring what exactly performance marketing entails, which KPIs you need to measure it, and what performance marketing looks like at scale.
Christian will complement these topics with personal stories from his time at Zalando where he built a performance marketing team from five to over 500 people, while becoming the biggest spender on Facebook and Google advertising in Europe. At the end of the talk, there will be time for Q&A.
Christian is a Founding Partner at Cherry Ventures. After some years at The Boston Consulting Group, Christian joined Zalando as their first CMO. He was responsible for building up and managing the group’s marketing efforts (i.e. performance marketing, CRM, PR, TV and brand marketing). He then joined the Management Board of Peek&Cloppenburg and was responsible for the company’s online business.
