During the session you will learn the basic principles of gathering customer insights (when and how to conduct research based on Design Thinking Principles); discuss real life cases and learn how other companies deal with customer insights; and gain tips and tricks to develop a customer centric mindset.

Jeroen Hermans started as a quantitative researcher at Ruigrok NetPanel, after specialising in Marketing and Consumer behaviour at Wageningen University and an internship with the Consumer Insights team at Friesland Campina. He conducts market potential research as well as target group research and has experience with integrating new technologies such as VR in market research.
Jeroen Spetter is a qualitative researcher at Ruigrok NetPanel and is specialised in finding new ways to make research more effective, efficient and, fun, for example, by applying gamification. He is currently developing an online game that gives companies insight into how consumers experience their brand (The Association Game).
Ruigrok NetPanel is a relatively small research agency with a lot of experience: They've been in the field for twenty-eight years and work with twenty-five colleagues. The agency combines qualitative and quantitative research in order to provide customer insights. They work for a variety of clients, both for growing companies as well as for more established names like ING and VodafoneZiggo.
